The Mineral Springs Foundation is a group of committed volunteers acting as stewards of our precious water resources. Our mission is to restore, protect and publicize the natural mineral springs and to document their historic origins.

Manitou Springs Waterfest

The Mineral Springs Foundation, in partnership with Sunwater Spa, The Manitou Springs Heritage Center, The Pikes Peak Bulletin and Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts is proud to present Waterfest ’24.
Join us for family fun, a community potluck, water games and presentations in celebration of a vital cause - restoring, protecting, and promoting the natural mineral springs that define Manitou Springs’ unique identity.
Proceeds from Waterfest go directly towards advancing the Foundation’s noble mission and documenting the historical origins of our precious springs.

Explore the Springs
Eight mineral springs have been restored or developed by the foundation in collaboration with the City of Manitou Springs and private landowners. They are not only unique resources, but also are historic landmarks and major attractions to the region, providing an economic boon to Manitou Springs and the surrounding areas.
